Discography (discogram)

Discography (discogram) is an invasive diagnostic method used in orthopedics to evaluate intervertebral discs. It involves the injection of contrast material into the disc under fluoroscopic guidance, with the aim of reproducing pain and identifying structural abnormalities. It is mainly used in cases of chronic discogenic pain when other imaging studies are inconclusive. It can be combined with CT for more detailed visualization.
