Triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC)

The TFCC is a complex of structures in the wrist that stabilizes the distal radioulnar joint. It plays an important role in load absorption and smooth wrist movement. Injuries to it cause pain and a feeling of instability. They are common in falls.
